Friends,
I have a very bad news to share with you today. Kannada’s one of the best contemporary writers and son of KuVemPu, Poornachandra Tejaswi is no more. He was 70 when he breathed last, today, a few hours ago.
Mukthabalaga mourns the demise of this great man.
Brief note about him :
He was born in Kuppalli in Thirthahalli taluk of Shimoga district. Although he is the son of “Rashtrakavi” Kuvempu, he came out of his father’s shadow and established his own image at an early age.
He spent most of his days in the company of the beautiful western ghats at Mudigere, which provided the back drop for his works.
His novels :
Although his novels are widely popular, his fame is due to variety in his works. poems, short stories, dramas, travelogues, science fictions, incidents related to nature.
Western ghat’s beauty has been captured alive throught his works.
We salute and bid adieu to this man of nature thru this small post. Good bye Mr. Tejaswi. RIP.
